Trump Deports US-Born Children to Hellish Violence in Haiti
There’s no misinterpreting the State Department’s blunt warning: “Do not travel to Haiti for any reason.” Yet that’s where Trump is deporting scores of Haitian immigrants, including American-born kids, following the end of Temporary Protected Status, the Miami Herald reported. The regime is bragging about it, posting a video showing Black men bound in chains and headed for Haiti in yet more racist state propaganda and yet another reminder that the regime’s dearest wish is to undo Reconstruction and return America to its chattel slavery origins.
Gang violence in Haiti is so extreme that it has caused half the population of 12 million people to require humanitarian assistance; it has internally displaced 1.5 million people, “the same number displaced by the 2010 earthquake, which prompted the Obama administration to designate Haiti for TPS.” Earlier this month, gangs executed the largest mass kidnapping in the country’s history, snatching 50 people from a peaceful community near the capital Port-au-Prince and killing least another 47, according to the AP.
The United Nations on Friday held an emergency meeting to discuss Haiti, during which members learned that nearly 200,000 people have been forcibly sent there since January, though news articles did not say from where; Haiti’s representative urged the UN to deploy its multinational Gang Suppression Force to help the Haitian military and law enforcement to restore public safety.
Trump conducted two deportation flights to Haiti last week, a sharp increase from the once-monthly flights previously. But the new cadence is now the norm because Trump wants to ethnically cleanse the nation of 150 Haitians every seven days. On the most recent flight, there were 161 people, including a 3-year-old boy born in the United States and other children, whose parents said it is “scandalous” that the government is expelling US citizens.
The regime has also deported far-right hatemonger Milo Yiannopoulos. Federal agents arrested the UK national and sent him back to London because he overstayed his visa and failed to attend an immigration hearing, ABC News, the Guardian and NBC News reported. Trump acolyte Laura Loomer claimed on social media that she’s responsible for his removal.
Yiannopoulos is a big fan of deportations. Here are some statements he made not long ago: “We have got to deport millions and millions and millions of people. Without that, nothing else matters;” ICE agents should have “total legal immunity” when they murder someone; and ICE should institute checkpoints all over and conduct “on the spot deportation for anyone who can’t prove they are in the US legally.” So, presumably, he is happy with this development.

Less than a year ago, perv-glasses merchant Mark Zuckerberg was at the White House with fellow oligarchs, fawning over Trump and inventing spending forecasts on the spot to please him. But like many other executives close to Trump, Zuckerberg can see that the wheel of fortune is turning, so he’s hedging his allegiance, the Wall Street Journal reported. Through his company Meta, Zuckerberg has donated $10 million to political nonprofits aligned with House and Senate Democratic leadership – a little counterbalance to the combined $20 million he’s given to Republican-aligned political nonprofits. Meanwhile, Kalshi and Paramount Skydance, whose executives likewise love the taste of Trump’s boots, have hired former Democratic aides to help them curry favor with that side of the aisle. What explains the shift by people whose only goal in life is to enrich themselves? The question answers itself. Per the WSJ:
Some companies are creating internal task forces to game out responses to potential congressional inquiries, particularly regarding their substantial financial support for Trump and his political operations, according to people involved in the discussions. Meta and Palantir are among the companies whose executives and advisers have discussed the likelihood they will face requests for information, future congressional hearings and even subpoenas, people involved in the discussions said.
Cooper Teboe, a Silicon Valley donor adviser and Democratic strategist, said Democrats could launch a wave of investigations if they take control of the House. His advice to companies who’ve been publicly cozying up to Trump and ignoring Democrats: “Get right with God.”
“You’re going to be totally f—ed next year or you’re going to figure it out this year and you’re going to make amends—and amends are going to be much more costly than they were previously,” he said.

The stations had been charging $3.47 per gallon as of early July, about 40 cents below market, but executives wouldn’t say how they were able to keep prices so low. Trump’s explanation was that the executives were just patriotic do-gooders, which, come on. Did anyone believe that?

- First Amendment Protects Speech Critical of Israel: Judge Federal Judge Noël Wise ruled Friday that the Trump regime “is unconstitutionally silencing critics of Israel’s war in Gaza and others” in its mass deportation campaign to expel foreign nationals. via the AP.

But instead of relating to its intentional harm of children, the $459,293,017.80 releases Meta from “any future claim” related to the company’s Cambridge Analytica scandal, in which an app developer gave the now-closed political research firm tens of millions of Facebook users’ data. That second settlement will go to 46 states; New Mexico and Washington, DC held out because they both have pending lawsuits over the scandal. In exchange for the payment, the 46 states “agreed to drop all current claims as well as any that might be based on information they discover in the future,” Bloomberg reported. In other words, Tech Policy Press said in its justifiably irritated coverage, “You are now effectively immune from your biggest scandal in history to date, Meta. Congratulations.”
