British King Charles' Brother Andrew Arrested for Abusing His Office to Benefit Jeffrey Epstein

The Associated Press reports:

A UK police force has arrested Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
The Thames Valley Police, an agency that covers areas west of London, including Mountbatten-Windsor’s former home, said it was “assessing” reports that the former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, sent trade reports to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2010. ...

Timing and Purpose of Possible US Attack on Iran Uncertain

A lot of basic facts about the massive American military buildup targeting Iran are still unknown to the public and apparently to most government officials. Specifically, the objectives of any attack on Iran, and the possible timing, are unknown to most within the government, and it may be that only the dotard Donald Trump knows whether, when, and why he may start another doomed war in the Middle East.

The New York Times reports that unlike last June's US-Israeli attack on three Iranian nuclear sites, "Trump's objectives now are less clear." Meanwhile, the Guardian breaks down the various timelines that have been reported regarding another US attack on Iran, some of which say an attack may begin as early as this weekend, and others extending to mid-March. For what it's worth, the Associated Press reports that Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel to Israel to discuss the US-Iran nuclear talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Feb. 28, which suggests any US attack may be less likely before that date.

Meanwhile, Politico reports that the US is pushing NATO to end its stabilization mission in Iraq--23 years after the US illegally invaded that country on a fabricated pretext involving weapons of mass destruction. Military experts say a US war with Iran would be even worse than the bloody invasion and lengthy occupation of Iraq, an incredibly costly quagmire that traumatized multiple generations in both countries and led to blowback in the US while destabilizing the wider Middle East. And for what? George W. Bush and Dick Cheney at least had concepts of a plan when they invaded Iraq. Trump doesn't even seem to know why he's stumbling into war.
