ICE Deportation Sentenced Toddler to Death
Trump’s immigrant terror campaign is continuing to visit unspeakable horrors on children, though news outlets are no longer putting coverage on the front pages. A case in point is the news this weekend of three-year-old Orlin Hernandez Reyes, whom ICE effectively sentenced to death when they kidnapped his mother in Alabama, threw her in a concentration camp, and left him in the care of a violent uncle in Florida who beat him to death, the Washington Post reported.
Immigration officials blamed Orlin’s mom for his death, saying she had “abandoned” him. But Wendy Hernandez Reyes had begged them to allow her to take Orlin with her; he was her only son. Instead, they ignored her pleas and deported her to Honduras, where she is now in hiding. Orlin’s body remains in the US; a woman in Florida is trying to get his remains to Honduras, according to local station WKRG.
“How could I abandon my son, if my son was the love of my life?” Wendy Hernandez Reyes asked a reporter. “I did everything with my son. I am not a bad mother who left my child with a killer.”
Here’s what immigration officials in the allegedly pro-life, pro-family Trump administration allowed to happen to this little boy, per the Post:
An autopsy showed he had multiple broken bones. There were signs his tiny body had been sexually battered. Authorities allege [Orlin’s uncle and Wendy’s brother-in-law, Samuel Maldonado Erazo] repeatedly struck Orlin in the head, stomped on his body and burned his skin with a lighter. His hands bore bruises, a sign that Orlin had tried to shield himself from the blows. The coroner listed his cause of death as multiple blunt force traumas.
Federal law places no requirement on ICE or any other agency to make sure children are safe after they kidnap their parents, attorneys who talked to the Post said. And although ICE policy “calls for following parents’ wishes for their children, including removing them together,” immigration lawyers told the Post that requests are often ignored.
I am putting this story first because it is important to understand that Trump is running an ongoing ethnic cleansing campaign to turn the US into a white ethnostate. If this were happening in another country, it would be very easy for all to understand. Since it is happening here, there is still some confusion, a symptom of the American exceptionalism hangover that has especially clouded the thinking of namby-pamby centrist Dems who keep repeating that we need immigration reform. Immigration reform is not the thing to focus on. The thing to focus on is the ethnic cleansing, which American officials have done before and which we must do everything in our power to stop.

Drone Strike Sparks Blaze Near UAE Nuclear Power Plant
It’s unclear who was responsible for sending three drones into the United Arab Emirates on Sunday, according to the AP and the BBC. The UAE shot down two after they entered from the western border but a third bombed an electrical power generator “outside the inner perimeter” of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in Abu Dhabi and started a fire. No one was injured, no one claimed responsibility and the UAE didn’t blame anyone, only saying that it constituted a “dangerous escalation.” According to Al Jazeera, radiation levels were normal and all units at the plant were running as normal. The UAE is an American ally, and Iran has repeatedly bombed it because the US and Israel are bombing Iran. The US and Iran announced a ceasefire on April 8, but attacks on the UAE have continued. Last week, notorious child molestation apologist Mike Huckabee, the US ambassador to Israel, said Israel had sent Iron Dome defense systems and workers to the UAE.
Ebola Outbreak Declared ‘Public Health Emergency of International Concern’
The World Health Organization made the declaration Sunday after more than 88 people have died in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda of the Bundibugyo strain of the viral fever, according to the AP, the Guardian and the WSJ. A further 300 people have suspected cases of the disease. There are no specific tests for the Bundibugyo strain, nor are there approved vaccines or cures. Ebola is extremely contagious and symptoms include “fever, fatigue, muscle pain and headaches, typically progressing to vomiting, diarrhea or bleeding.” It carries a high mortality rate; it is spread through blood, vomit and other bodily fluids. “Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the director general of the WHO, announced the decision before convening a formal emergency committee at the organisation,” the Guardian reported. “Experts said the speed was likely to reflect the gravity of the situation.” Meanwhile, Canada’s national health agency confirmed yesterday that one of a group of Canadian passengers who returned home from the Hantavirus cruise ship tested positive for the virus. You know, Canada. America’s neighbor to the north, with whom the US shares a land mass. Anyway, in other news, health experts say that the US is totally unprepared to deal with a pandemic.
