Regime Effort to Prosecute 'Seditious Six' Democratic Lawmakers Flops Before DC Grand Jury
Under the Trump regime, is it illegal to tell government employees to follow the law? That was the question that confronted a federal grand jury in Washington, DC, and their answer, which they delivered yesterday, was a firm "no." The Washington Post reports that the grand jury refused to indict six Democratic lawmakers, all veterans of the United States military or intelligence agencies, who released a video last year in which they urged servicemembers to honor their oaths to the Constitution and refuse to obey unlawful orders. "Know that we have your back," they said, one after another, "Don't give up the ship."
That's not a crime. But former Fox News host-turned-US Attorney for Washington, DC, Jeanine Pirro, sought to charge the Democrats with "a felony that makes it illegal to 'interfere with, impair, or influence the loyalty, morale, or discipline of the military or naval forces of the United States.'" Grand juries rarely refuse prosecutors' requests to indict people, but Pirro and other regime lackeys are running into one refusal after another as they bring weak cases to satisfy "Trump's well-known desire for revenge," the New York Times reports.
The six lawmakers include Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, a retired Navy captain and astronaut, and Michigan Sen. Elissa Slotkin, a former CIA analyst, both of whom serve on the Armed Services Committee; as well as Reps. Jason Crow of Colorado, a former Army Ranger; Chrissy Houlahan and Chris Deluzio of Pennsylvania, a former Air Force officer and Navy officer, respectively; and Maggie Goodlander of New Hampshire, who is a Navy veteran.
"I will not be intimidated for a single second by the Trump Administration or Justice Department lawyers who tried and failed to indict me today," Rep. Deluzio wrote. "American citizens on a grand jury refused to go along with this attempt to charge me with a crime for stating the law in a way Trump and his enablers didn't like. They may want Americans to be afraid to speak out or to disagree—but patriotism demands courage in this moment. DON’T GIVE UP THE SHIP!"

Trump Orders Feds to Help Him Rewrite 2020 Election History
NBC News reports that Donald Trump has ordered the CIA and other spy agencies to "provide intelligence about the 2020 election" to his former campaign lawyer who led the fraudulent "Stop the Steal" campaign. That lawyer, Kurt Olsen, kicked off the recent disturbing FBI raid on Fulton County, Georgia's, election center, in which Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard participated. According to the New York Times and other news organizations, an FBI search warrant affidavit unsealed yesterday declares that "Olsen, Presidentially appointed Director of Election Security and Integrity," originated the criminal referral.
"These accusations have been debunked, but here we go again on a merry-go-round," Robb Pitts, chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, told reporters yesterday. "There are no rules. They're just doing anything they choose to do at this point in time, disregarding the Constitution altogether." Meanwhile in Michigan, a federal judge dismissed a Justice Department lawsuit seeking to obtain the state's voter rolls, one of at least 23 such cases nationwide, which show that Trump's election-rigging efforts continue.
New York Leaders Vow to Restore Stonewall Pride Flag After Regime Pulls It Down
The federal monument in Manhattan recognizing the 1969 Stonewall riots, a pivotal moment in the LGBTQ rights movement, has long been graced with a flagpole bearing a rainbow Pride flag. But the Trump regime "quietly removed" the flag over the weekend in line with new federal rules restricting "non-agency" flags in the National Park System, which includes a small park outside the privately owned Stonewall Inn, the New York Times reports. "It is unbelievable," says Inn owner Stacy Lentz. "The flag is not just an abstract symbol; it tells LGBTQ people, especially younger ones, that their history will not be sidelined again." More than 100 people rallied outside the Inn to protest the flag removal yesterday. Democratic Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal says city leaders will defy the regime and raise the flag again tomorrow.
