In Munich, AOC Debuts Working Class Vision of Foreign Policy

Gavin Newsom and Republican Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the Munich Security Conference this week, where global bigwigs hobnob over diplomatic matters. As the New York Times reports, European attendees are wondering "whether they can ever really trust the United States again — and what they need to do if they cannot."

While Rubio is seen as the Trump's regime's "good cop," AOC offered an entirely different vision, under the advisement of Matt Duss, the former foreign policy adviser to Sen. Bernie Sanders and a frequent MR guest. Per NBC News, she'll speak on two panels at Munich, one on the "rise of populism" and another on the future of US foreign policy. "She believes the US has an important role to play around the world, but military intervention is not the way to do that," Duss says. "And there's clearly a strong constituency in the country that agrees with that."

DC Attorney General Brian Schwalb yesterday charged Razjooyan under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, better known as RICO, which is usually used to charge organized crime. Schwalb says it's the first time the law has been used against a landlord in the District.
