Trump’s Racist War on Immigrants Hurting American Kids 

The administration’s insistence on punishing immigrants, especially undocumented people, will ultimately hurt American kids, according to The New York Times. Much of the harm comes via the House Murder Bill, which would among other things limit immigrants' access to Medicaid and Medicare and deny the child tax credit to parents who lack Social Security numbers – even if the child has one. There are about nine million children in the US with at least one noncitizen parent; they are the ones who will suffer because of these changes. 

“In the name of wanting to take a harsh policy stance against immigrants, in many different ways the reality is that they’re going to be punishing citizens and other immigrants that have been eligible in the past,” said Shelby Gonzales, vice president for immigration policy at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. 

Trump’s hatred of children is reflected throughout his administration’s activities, such as his dismissal of the CDC drowning-prevention team. But he has love in his heart, too, you know. Just look at the way he treats people who remind him of himself, like the rich tax fraudster he pardoned after the fraudster’s mom spent $1 million for a ticket to a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago. Or the reality-TV couple that was convicted of tax evasion and defrauding banks out of millions. He also pardoned them. So.

Newsom’s California Caves to Trump’s Hateful Anti-Trans Obsession

California’s Interscholastic Federation changed its rules after Trump threatened to withhold federal funding from the state if it allows trans girls to participate in girls’ sports, according to Advocate and the LA Times. Trump used his social media website to shout at Gov. Gavin Newsom, claiming Newsom “continues to ILLEGALLY allow MEN TO PLAY IN WOMEN’S SPORTS” and stating that he is “ordering local authorities, if necessary, to not allow the transitioned person to compete in the State Finals. This is a totally ridiculous situation!!!” What authority, you might ask, does Trump have to make such an order? Well, it doesn’t matter, because Newsom himself is an anti-trans twit who will do anything to serve his career. Just hours after Trump’s little rant, the interscholastic federation announced a brand new “pilot entry process” for this weekend’s state championships that essentially lets in cis girls who originally failed to qualify. Trump didn’t name the teen athlete he’s so mad about, but media outlets reported she is a high school junior who won the girls’ long jump and triple jump during a meet last weekend. In conclusion, the low-energy, child-hating loser who is running our country into the ground, who has skipped every leg day since the dawn of time, is upset about a teen who won some track events. Pathetic. 

Agent of Death ‘Pleased’ to Mislead Pregnant People, Kids About Covid Vaccine  

The Trump Administration will no longer recommend the Covid vaccine to kids or to pregnant people, “Health Secretary” Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., said yesterday. Infants are among the most at risk for hospitalization when infected with Covid, doctors say, and contracting the virus before or during pregnancy increases the risk of miscarriage. The decision comes a few days after the Food and Drug Administration said it would only approve Covid vaccines for people over 65 years old this fall. Man, I thought this administration was all about “personal choice.” But I guess they meant specifically the personal choice of RFK, Jr. My mistake! Anyway, if you want to personally choose to educate yourself beyond the quackery of Mr. Brain Worm Dead Bear Whale Head, then you might be interested to know what other nations have to say. Canada, for example, thinks it’s a pretty good idea to get the vaccine if you’re pregnant. So does the United Kingdom. I’m inclined to listen to them given that people there have a higher life expectancy than we do in America. But, up to you! Freedom!
