Trump Admin Knows Almost All Venezuelans Sent to El Salvador Gulag Have No Criminal Record in US or Elsewhere

The vast majority of the 238 Venezuelan immigrants Trump disappeared to the supermax gulag in El Salvador have no criminal record in either the US or other countries – and the administration knows it, an investigation by multiple news agencies proved. 

Department of Homeland Security data shows that Trump and his racist confederates know that just 32 of the deportees have been convicted of crimes in the US, most of which are nonviolent offenses like traffic violations, the joint investigation by Alianza Rebelde Investiga, Cazadores de Fake News, ProPublica and The Texas Tribune found. The data also shows that 130 of the men had no criminal conviction or pending charges at all – they had only allegedly broken immigration law. The Venezuelan and US news organizations likewise analyzed court and police records from the US and the Latin American countries deportees had lived in and found almost all were innocent of any crimes there, too. Reporters found just 20 arrests or convictions, with only 11 for violent crimes. 

John Sandweg, a former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said, “for political reasons, I think the administration wants to characterize this as a grand effort that’s promoting public safety of the United States.” But “even some of the government’s own data demonstrates there is a gap between the rhetoric and the reality.”

The organizations’ exposure of the previously unreported governmental data came as the unelected lifetime appointees of the Supreme Court decided to give Trump the permission needed to revoke the provisional legal status of about 530,000 people from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela, The Washington Post reported. The high priests also allowed him to revoke temporary protections that allowed a separate group of about 350,000 people from Venezuela to live in the US. And if that wasn’t horrific enough, the State Department is opening an “Office of Remigration,” Reuters and independent journalist Marisa Kabas reported, and other outlets followed. “Remigration” is a neo-Nazi concept. 

When confronted with their lies about deportees’ criminality, Trump’s lackeys scolded ProPublica and then told more lies about how Americans want their neighbors rounded up. It’s easy to dispute that: more than half of Americans don’t approve of Trump’s immigration policies, a recent CNN poll found – a sentiment that will likely rise as his masked goon squad savages more beloved community figures in neighborhood institutions, and as they open fire with “less lethal” weapons on those who object.

In fact, he takes so much ketamine “that it was affecting his bladder,” a long way of saying he gets high enough to piss himself. This extremely unsurprising revelation landed as Musk was said to be leaving the government. But as the BBC and TNR pointed out, what’s really happening is that his status as a “special government employee” has reached its 130-day time limit. Continuing in the same capacity would require a lot of financial and ethical disclosures. So to avoid that, this drug-addicted maniac with the power to wreck American social services, who has taken at least $38 billion of taxpayers’ money in the form of government contracts, loans, and other funding, is “gonna be back and forth,” as Trump put it. Sucks. Oh, also. Musk has a black eye and he blamed his kid for it.

Israeli tanks and drones opened fire and killed more than 30 Palestinians as they waited in line for food at a distribution site run by the shady Israel-US Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, witnesses said according to Al Jazeera and The Guardian. “My brother went to receive aid from the American distribution points in Rafah when the bullets started raining down on them,” Yarin Abu al-Naja, 44, told The Guardian. “The Israeli soldiers had started shooting at the people there. My brother went with two of his friends. One of them was critically injured in the head, the other was killed, and my brother was shot in the back.” Naja added that at the hospital, “There were no available beds due to the large number of casualties and dead arriving from the same location. The scenes were horrific – people missing limbs, hands or legs, others decapitated, or with open abdomens.” Meanwhile, Trump’s envoy told Hamas that its amendments to a US-backed ceasefire proposal were “totally unacceptable,” Reuters reported. What were they, these unacceptable demands? For Israeli troops to withdraw and for the ceasefire to be permanent.
