Supreme Court Takes Axe to Planned Parenthood in South Carolina, Allows State to Cut All Medicaid Funding
The corrupt Supreme Court yesterday handed the Trump regime another win in its fight to strip modern medicine away from Americans, this time by ruling that South Carolina can cut off Medicaid funding from Planned Parenthood, a decision that has implications for those in other states, The Washington Post reported.
All three liberal justices dissented in the ruling. It reversed a lower court’s decision that allowed Planned Parenthood South Atlantic and a patient to sue after South Carolina withheld all Medicaid funding for the organization because it offers abortions. Now patients who use Medicaid can’t get any services at Planned Parenthood clinics in South Carolina, including birth control and cancer screenings. The ruling means that people will die unnecessarily. But odious union-busting creep Gov. Henry McMaster said it protects the sanctity of life, which, no it doesn’t.
What it actually does, as Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wrote in her dissent, is “strip those South Carolinians — and countless other Medicaid recipients around the country — of a deeply personal freedom: the ‘ability to decide who treats us at our most vulnerable.’”

Senate Official Throws Wrench in Deadly GOP Spending Bill
Tump’s Big Bogus Bill took a hit yesterday when the Senate official who adjudicates procedural measures kicked out multiple proposals that would have killed people. The parliamentarian found that proposals to cut all federal Medicaid and CHIP funding for gender-affirming care, revoke immigrants’ eligibility for Medicaid, and mess with state taxes all failed to conform with procedural rules, according to the Senate Budget Committee and NBC News. Trump wants his signature legislation by July 4, but now it’s unclear what Republicans will do. While Republicans freaked out, called for the parliamentarian’s head, and got mad about woke, Trump acted like everything was going great and at a White House event said the bill would deliver the biggest tax cut in US history. He didn’t mention that the cuts go almost entirely to the wealthy, or that they’re funded by cuts to Medicaid and food stamps.

The deranged scion of a cursed family who is now the secretary of health is making more policy decisions based on conspiracy theories. Yesterday, RFK, Jr. used his panel of quacks to recommend against seasonal flu shots that contain the ethylmercury-based preservative thimerosal because he thinks it’s the same as mercury. It is not. “Repeated, large studies conducted across several countries have found no association between thimerosal and neurological effects,” The Guardian reported. Panelists were going to hear a presentation from a Centers for Disease Control career scientist about those studies. But they cancelled that in favor of one from an anti-vaxxer, whose presentation “was found to include a reference to a study that appeared to be made up.” It’s not clear yet what the vote means for the upcoming flu season. Doctors said the rest of the world is watching the world “in horror” and that Kennedy’s quackery is “truly an embarrassment at this point.”
